In 2005, a philanthropist and entrepreneur headed the establishment of Kaystar Construction Ltd. As Managing Director, Paul Kurai led the company that is a local subsidiary of the Neno Group of Companies, and is duly registered with the Investment Promotion Authority.

With more than 160 employees composed of engineers, surveyors, foremen, operator drivers, mechanics, and laborers, the company boasts of its over 160PGK in civil engineering projects across Central Province and National Capital District Commission, while its head office sits in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands Province. It has branches in Port Moresby and Wabag, Enga Province.
